What to bring
WELCOME TO SEATOURS ISLAND EXPEDITION
- Get ready to experience 3 days 2 nights of Island adventure with us.

- 2-4 destinations each day (weather-dependent: current, wind, and waves),Â
- Meals, snacks, and refreshments
- Filipino classics and fresh catches (Kindly inform us for your special requests and allergy)
- Snacks and/or fruit will be provided in between meals
- Water always available
- Soft drinks available with meals – Juices, coffee,Â
- Rum-Coke is served starting lunch time
- Packing list:
- 1 small day bag (dry bag suggested ~2-5 liters)
- For optional bringing onto each spot
- Camera/phone, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, book, music
- For optional bringing onto each spot
- 1 overnight bag (dry/water resistant bag suggested ~10-30 liters)
- For bringing onto basecamp overnight
- (along with day bag), Change of clothes, toiletries, toothbrush/paste, insect repellant, headlamp, tumbler, etc.

- Checkin-Large luggage will be stored in a locked compartment under the boat, inaccessible during the expedition. Ensure your luggage is securely locked. The compartment will only be opened in the presence of three different parties for security reasons.

- You may bring your own, but we cannot guarantee space in our coolers.
- Not a booze cruise, however we do enjoy a good session to cap off the days.Â
- Be mindful of your consumption so you can still fully enjoy the next adventure-filled day ahead.

- There will be a lot of swimming! To and from the basecamps as well as snorkeling.Â

- Ignoring instructions regarding the use of safety equipment (e.g., life jackets)

- Meeting time and place:
- Â El Nido Starting Point : Bulalo Plaza , 5 pm the day before the departure date
- Coron : Place to be announced, 5 pm the day before the departure date
- Make sure to attend the major briefing the day before or read your email. If not, there will be a short briefing only in the morning before departure.
- Miscellaneous information
- Breakfast is not included on day 1
- Group Dynamics : The expedition accommodates up to 20 participants, along with our dedicated crew and tour guides. Respect the space and privacy of others, especially in shared areas such as the boat and campsite huts.
- Huts : We have a limited number of huts, kindly coordinate if you want to be alone in huts. In any case there will be a chance that a sharing for single participants
- Limited Medical Access : No hospitals or medical facilities available during the expedition. Bring necessary medications, especially for allergies.
- Mask and snorkel are included, but you will be assigned a set that you’ll be responsible for. If you loose them you will pay for it.
- Real Island Experience : No electricity, no communication signals, and unpredictable weather conditions. Be prepared for a rustic experience. Digital Detox!
- Harassment-Free Environment : Seatours Palawan is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment. Harassment or inappropriate behavior towards guests, crew members, or tour guides will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the expedition without a refund.
Waiver
Waiver and Release of Liability
- Acknowledgment of Risks:
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Seatours Palawan 3-Day, 2-Night Expedition, which involves activities such as boating, snorkeling, island camping, and other outdoor adventures. I understand that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Unpredictable weather conditions
- Rough seas and strong currents
- Limited or no access to medical facilities
- Potential for injuries from marine life, insects, and wildlife
- Lack of electricity and communication signals
- No access to hospitals or allergy medications
- Risk of falling overboard or drowning
- Sunburn, dehydration, and heat-related illnesses
- Limited access to fresh water and sanitation facilities
- Potential for theft or loss of personal belongings
- Assumption of Risks:
I understand that participating in this expedition requires flexibility and adaptability to unexpected situations. I willingly assume all risks associated with this adventure, including those not mentioned above.
- Responsibilities and Conduct:
I agree to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the Seatours Palawan staff and tour guides. I understand that tour guides are available from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM only. Outside of these hours, I am responsible for my own safety and conduct.
- Prohibited Actions:
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, I agree to refrain from the following actions,

- Disrespecting locals or their culture during village visits
- Disregarding safety instructions
- Engaging in dangerous or reckless behavior (e.g., jumping off boats while they are running)
- Jumping off boats without permission from the main lead tour guide
- Disturbing wildlife or damaging the environment
- Consuming alcohol excessively or using illegal substances
- Harassing or behaving inappropriately towards other guests, crew, or tour guides
- Littering or polluting the environment
- Engaging in any behavior that endangers oneself or others
- Ignoring instructions regarding the use of safety equipment (e.g., life jackets)
- Bringing prohibited items on board (e.g., firearms, explosives
- Medical Conditions:
I certify that I am in good health and do not have any medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating in this expedition. I have informed Seatours Palawan of any allergies or medical conditions that may require attention. I understand that there are no medical facilities available during the expedition and that I must bring any necessary medications with me.
- Release of Liability:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in this expedition, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, release and hold harmless Seatours Palawan, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, including those for personal injury, death, or property damage, arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this expedition.
- Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seatours Palawan from any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from my actions or omissions during the expedition.
- Media Release:
I grant Seatours Palawan permission to use any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the expedition for promotional purposes without compensation. I understand that I have the option to opt out of being photographed or having my photos posted by informing the tour guides at the beginning of the expedition.
- Governing Law:
This waiver and release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines.

Personal Belongings:

Check-In Luggage: Participants will not have access to their check-in luggage during the expedition as it will be stored in a locked compartment under the boat. Ensure that your luggage is securely locked. The compartment will only be opened in the presence of three different parties for security reasons.
Â
Hand-Carry Baggage: Participants are advised to bring a hand-carry bag with all essentials needed for the 3-day, 2-night trip, including clothes, toiletries, medications, and other personal items.
Seatours Palawan is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Participants are responsible for securing their own items.

This waiver and release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- More than 30 days before departure: 94% refund (6% payment charge).
- 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund.
- 15 days or less before departure: No refund.
- The trip may be cancelled if the minimum number of 6 people is not met one day before the tour.
Refunds are only provided if:
(1) Valid Emergency Situations or Adverse Weather Conditions:
- Gale Warning: If a gale warning is issued by coastguard and the trip cannot proceed on the scheduled departure date, we will reschedule for the next day. If the gale warning persists, we will continue to reschedule for up to three consecutive days. If after three attempts (including original departure) the trip cannot proceed due to the gale warning, a refund will be issued.
- If canceled by the Coast Guard due to bad weather, we will reschedule your trip for next two days as mentioned. We will only refund you if the next two trip is proven not within your schedule anymore.
- Refunds due to emergency or medical reasons will only be processed if supported by a notarized document from a lawyer or a medical certificate.
- Minimum Number of Participants Not Met: If the minimum number of 10 participants is not met, the trip will proceed only if the remaining participants agree to cover the cost for 10 people, totaling 157,250 pesos (15,725 pesos x 10). This amount will be divided among those who choose to continue. Participants who do not wish to continue can cancel without penalty.
(2) Travel Insurance
- We highly recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance that covers health and emergency situations while abroad.
- We can provide a travel insurance certificate for you to submit to your insurance company.
- Alternatively, we can issue a travel certificate confirming your inability to join the trip, which you can use to claim a refund from your travel insurance.

(3) Force Majeure:
In the event of Force Majeure (circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of God, severe weather, fire, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, sickness, quarantine, government intervention), the following terms apply:

Notification: We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible of the nature and extent of the Force Majeure event.
Cancellation or Variation: We reserve the right to vary or cancel any tour or expedition. Refunds, if due, will be at our discretion, although we will make reasonable efforts to reimburse you, less any reasonable costs incurred.
No Refunds will be given for :Â
- Lost travel time or necessary substitution of facilities due to Force Majeure.
- Amendments to itineraries after departure due to Force Majeure.
- Circumstances beyond our control necessitating alternative arrangements for safety and/or enjoyment.
- No-shows for any accommodation, service, or excursion without prior notification via received email.
- Early departure or abandonment of any portion of the trip.
- If, after due consideration, we determine that the tour or expedition can proceed under Force Majeure conditions, no refunds will be payable.
